I worked full-time for ten years at Raritan Bay Medical Center in Old Bridge and Perth Amboy, New Jersey as part of the Division of Integrative Medicine offering Reiki, acupressure, guided imagery and breathing techniques to patients and staff as well as classes for the community.
I am passionate about my healing work and have seen first-hand how transformative these complementary therapies can be.
I have written articles on holistic subjects for local newspaper and hospital publications and national magazines..

A Reiki treatment is done on a fully-clothed recipient. The practitioenr uses light touch (or no touch if preferred) at various points on the body. The recipient usually feels warmth, gently vibration and total relaxation during the treatment.
Reiki treatments promote healing of physical and emotional ailments, restoring balance and encouraging feelings of well-being, peace and clarity. If you are struggling with a serious health condition, Reiki can help you feel better and cope better. If you are feeling anxious, Reiki treatments can help you relax and destress.
Reiki is not a replacement for medical or psychological treatment. It does combine well with any treatment and is always safe.

I teach Reiki from a Japanese perspective without new age add-ons as taught by the International House of Reiki. Currently I offer "Reiki Recharge" classes for students of all lineages who want to deepen their current practice or start again if they have not been practicing.
